In honor of today being 8/08 it felt only right to choose a song from Kanye West's breakthrough album 808's & Heartbreak to celebrate.
Looking back on it, 808's & Heartbreak was a defining pivot in the sound of Kanye West. His experimentation with sound and breaking from the constraints of trying to fit a box is on full display on this album.
It was hard to choose a track to share from this album with so many gems. I chose this one since it did not get quite as much fan fare despite being great itself. Take the time to give the whole album a listen today.
